Who You'll Work With

What you’ll do

You will be responsible for delivering the product with quality. Ensuring all the test methods, test process are followed and abiding to the delivery time without compromising the quality. Additionally, you will need support our immediate customer by providing the required demo’s of new features.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop, execute, and maintaining of test cases and plans based on business and technical requirements.
2. Estimating, prioritizing, and execute quality testing activities.
3. Interacting with stakeholders to understand the requirements and derive any test requirements
4. Performing different test type execution based on the requirements on different platforms and proper reporting to all stake holders.
5. Identifying, documenting and tracking bugs using JIRA/QATouch or any bug tracking tools
6. Collaborating with developers, system engineers, marketing & technical manager to improve software quality
7. Provide proactive feedback on UI/UX, Performance, and overall user experience.
8. Proactively giving demo’s to all stake holders on key features or improvements in the product and also support in POC/demo’s to new customers
9. Participate in daily scrums and retrospective meetings to improve in QA process.
10. Innovative in testing and defining success criteria with minimum test data
11. Support customer queries and interfacing internal technical support staff.
12. Should be able to deploy in any cloud or on premises servers.

What we are looking for:

1. Overall, 4+ years of experience in Software testing with Web, API & Mobile application testing.
2. Experience in Video Management Software (VMS), Video compression, Camera’s, Streaming & Transcoding.
3. Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Software testing life cycle (STLC)
4. Experience in different test types handling including functional, regression, non functional, usability for web and mobile based applications.
5. Experience in deriving testcases using design and analysis methods, writing testcases, execution and defect reporting .
6. Knowledge on SQL for database validation.
7. Familiar with API based testing using any tools like Postman, SoapUI
8. Ability to create test plans, test reports .
9. Exposure to Scrum/Agile methodologies.
10. Experience in UI/UX.
11. Experience in working with test management tools, performance tools, Linux/Unix/Windows OS
12. Python scripting will be required to create or enhance tools which help in improving efficiency
