Job Description: Senior Engineer – Technical Support

Responsibilities

• Demonstrating, installing, troubleshooting, and maintaining Video management system and related software applications.
• Reporting of customer feedback and preparing RCA reports.
• Interaction with customers to understand their requirement and generating documents out of that.
• Supporting the roll-out of new applications, testing, and evaluating new technologies.

Qualifications:

• Good understanding of servers, storage devices, network communication basics.
• Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting software applications on Linux and Windows OS.
• Hands-on experience handling IP cameras and network switches.
• Hands-on experience with customer interaction and generating RCA report.
• Very good interpersonal and communication skill (both written and verbal)

Good to have:

• Experience installing and maintaining Video Management System (VMS) and/or ICCC applications.
• Experience deploying containerized (Dockerized) software applications.
• Experience with remote desktop applications and help desk software.

Work experience:

• 8-10 years of experience in installation and maintenance of IP Surveillance systems.
• At least 4 years of experience with Video Management Systems, Traffic Management, and Video Analytics software.

Education:

B.Tech / BCA / MCA in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering
